How does training work?
Training with me is full service, meaning I help design your workout and nutrition routines. And I help you optimize essential lifestyle variables, like sleep quality, to enhance your performance and results.
You will have specific instructions to follow daily until you achieve your ultimate goal, including when and how to prioritize recovery.
I can't do the work for you, but I can guide you every step of the way.
My goal is to 1) maximize your convenience and 2) educate you so that you become empowered enough to manage many of your fitness needs independently.
Everybody is different, and every body is different, so my training programs are always tailored to my client's individual needs.
In-person training happens at my gym in Chicago or a different location nearby if you need more privacy. If you work with me online, we meet on video.
Yes, online training poses unique challenges that in-person training does not, but that's where good decision-making and communication come into play.
My in-person and online training programs have been proven to deliver serious results to my clients.

What are my training principles?
Plan the work and work the plan. As cliche as it sounds, failing to plan is planning to fail. My programs provide a clear plan and simple step-by-step instructions to help you progressively build toward your ultimate goal.
Don’t try to reinvent the wheel. There’s no sense in wasting time, effort, or resources. My programs are designed based on what has been proven to work, but my methods keep evolving to keep the training process fresh.
Safety is an insurance policy for results. Results come from consistency, and you can’t be consistent if you’re always getting hurt. My programs prioritize safety to help you win now and into the future.
You can’t outwork a bad diet. Some people can eat whatever they want and still have chiseled abs. Most of us, myself included, are not like these people. Plus, a bad diet can hurt your performance. My programs include proven nutrition protocols.
If you’re not having fun, we’re doing it wrong. Training is obviously hard work, but the process should be enjoyed as much as possible. There are different ways to accomplish the same goal. My programs are malleable, so we can make effective changes if things get boring.
